2019 Luminary Walk & Bonfire

I've thought about doing this for awhile now and we're going to give it a shot!  This is just a reason to get outside and say hi to one another before spring arrives.  

• All lake residents set out a Luminary ~ they're easy to make:
• • Fill a Home Depot bucket with water 
  • Set it outside for one or two days
  • Bring inside for 15 minutes to loosen it from the bucket
  • Go back outside and slowly and gently dump the bucket upside down and your luminary will slip out
  • It will have some thin ice on the top, so break the ice out with a hammer
  • Dump out the water in the luminary 
  • Set down by the lake in front of your house with a candle in it.

• This is open to neighbors ON and OFF the lake, so please invite others.
• If you want to have a bonfire at your house feel free
• There will be luminaries and a bonfire in the middle of the South Basin for folks to gather
• Make some extras to fill in the gaps for those that are unable to make one.  I plan to make as many as I can.
