Long Lake is a 200 acre lake located in New Brighton, MN within Ramsey County.  It is 10 miles north of downtown Minneapolis and one of the closest recreational lakes to the downtown areas.  Half the lake is owned by Ramsey County and contains the popular Long Lake Regional Park.  The other half of the lake is made up of 138 lakeshore owners and 4 easements   

Due to its proximity to the metro areas, Long Lake is a popular boating, water sport, and fishing destination.
