Curly-Leaf Pondweed is one of the first weeds to show itself in the spring and usually dies off by the 4th of July.  Per the June 2016 Lake Survey, Curly-Leaf Pondweed is the dominant species of Long Lake, with 2/3 of test points with vegetation containing a sample of this species.
