Ready for an urban adventure?  Starting in Peltier Lake you can kayak or canoe 15 miles to Long Lake and 8 miles more to the Mississippi.  It takes about 3 hours to paddle from Long Lake to the Riverfront Regional Park Boat Launch just south of 694 on East River Road.

North of Long Lake can be a relatively mild paddle, but the water speed picks up south of Long Lake where some paddling challenges can be found.
