LLIA collaborated with Ramsey Conservation District to perform a  weed survey (LongLakeSurvey_160615.pdf) in June 2016.  Like many lakes across the state, Long Lake also struggles with invasive weeds; Milfoil and Curly Leaf Pond Weed predominantly.  Weed Control solutions are being reviewed by LLIA and more information will be provided soon (winter 2017).
