is no wake rule in effect because of recent down pours?

city hasn't put up sign so far but level seems pretty high and we plan to wakeboard and surf on Friday?

Apologies for our late reply on this.  Unfortunately at this point, we don't receive alerts on new forum entries and there doesn't seem to be functionality to all us to receive such.  The lake height was close to the maximum level on the dates you reference and may have even been at the minimum wake level.

For questions that require an immediate response, such as high water, please email us at llianewbrighton@gmail.com so we can respond immediately to your inquiry and we'll address it.  We typically reach out to New Brighton Police Department to check the height at the Long Lake Bridge by Rice Creek Road and post the landing to inform those that launch of the minimum wake situation.

However, thanks for using the forum entry and we'll look into alerts !

Additionally, when high water is determined we will send an email blast to all residents immediately and post it on the home page of the website.  All the more reason for lakeshore and easement owners to register with the site to receive these important communications.
